Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Cookies and similar browser storage are small pieces of data saved on your device. We keep them to a minimum. No optional cookie is set until you choose OK on the banner. If you choose No thanks, the site still works fully, Facebook / map content can be loaded one item at a time, and visits are only counted anonymously (see below).
1. Essential (always on)
| Name | Stored by | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| vpp_consent_v1 | This site (browser storage) | Remembers your OK / No thanks choice | Until you clear it or change it |
| tipTextSize, tipVoice, tipVote:* | This site (browser storage) | Remembers your text size and 👍/👎 on health tips | Until you clear it |
| vpp_admin_session | This site (cookie) | Keeps the practice administrator signed in to the billing panel — never set for visitors | 7 days |
2. Analytics
We use Google Analytics in Consent Mode. Before you choose, or if you choose No thanks, it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device; it sends Google an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, so we can see rough visitor numbers. Like any web request, this includes basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type, which Google uses only in aggregate. With OK, the cookies below are set so visits can be measured more accurately.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics (only after OK) | Counts visits and shows which pages and tips are useful (no names or phone numbers) | Up to 2 years |
3. Third-party embeds (after OK, or when you tap "Load")
- Facebook — our page feed, videos and photos. Facebook may set its own cookies (for example
datr,fr) under its own policy. - Google Maps — the map on the Contact page. Google may set its own cookies (for example
NID).
Links that open WhatsApp, Facebook or the Google registration form take you to those services, which apply their own cookie and privacy policies.
4. Change your choice
You can change your choice at any time. Choosing No thanks after OK removes our Google Analytics cookies and switches it back to cookieless mode. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.
